05-20-2017 Katie and Ryan Hamlin Wedding

I did Katie and Ryan’s engagement session back in September. They loved the work I did and asked for me for their wedding. This was going to be a long day but they were great! I had met them before and are a great couple! We had fun taking pictures of their engagement that now we were going to do the wedding.

I went to the hotel where she was staying at the Renaissance Hotel in Schaumburg, IL. It’s a beautiful hotel and if you are looking for a place to have your reception at, check it out.

The groom, Ryan was at his parent’s house. There was another photographer taking pictures there while I took pictures of the bride at the hotel. I was able to get a few at the church.

We headed to the church, which was in Inverness, IL, the church name is Holy Family Parish. I had been to this church before a few years ago. The reason I remember is because of the statue they have in the alter. The staff were very helpful and they let you know where you can go and not go. As a photographer this is important so the priest doesn’t call any attention to you. They have a courtyard to take pictures at as well. We were able to take pictures there as well.

We didn’t go to the park to take more pictures because it had rained and went away but left the grass moist.

We went back to the hotel, to take pictures there.

At the hotel, there were 3 or 4 events going on. There was a graduation, and 2 wedding parties. It was a very busy hotel.

This beautiful couple dancing for the first time as husband and wife! 🙂
