09-01-17 Marvin & Karen’s Engagement Session

One of my friend’s from Bogan High School is getting married. 🙂

She wanted to take pictures downtown and because they had never had pictures taken professionally before, only like for parties and few wedding events that they have gone to.

We ended up going to the Nature Board Walk in Lincoln Park Zoo. If you have never been here, you should definitely check it out. You can walk, stop at the restaurant near by, and take in the view from the city! The first place to stop is the bridge. You can see the John Hancock Building from the bridge. People stop and take pictures.

Marvin and Karen were great! Just like every couple in love, they were fun, silly, and goofy happy. I love capturing those special moments.

Karen said I should use more pictures without the special effects, so I’m going to do that 😉

She likes Black & White pictures 😀

There is usually a lot of people here taking pictures, but we were lucky, we had it to ourselves.

There is a nice path to walk, just be careful of the bees, if you are allergic, cause we saw a few.

There is a beautiful architectural monument, at night it looks amazing. It hasn’t been cleaned in a long while, and you can only tell if you get up close to it. It photographs well.

Thank you to my friend Karen, who is an amazing teacher, she received a gold apple award 🙂
